This is one of those ideas that sounds simple but took me way too long to think of! Using a shop bought chicken kyiv as a burger patty. Chicken burgers from the shops can be a bit dry and disappointing, but that’s not an issue here because each kyiv is stuffed full of garlic butter sauce. Just have a napkin on hand for when you bite in!
I’ve topped these with a simple burger sauce and extra cheese and these ae my new favourite! I used ‘Japanese milk buns’ from M&S which were lovely, but you can pick any buns you fancy!

How to make chicken kyiv burgers:

1. Cook the chicken kyivs as per the packet instructions – be careful not to pierce them while they’re cooking or you’ll lose all that garlic butter!

2. While the kyivs are cooking, shred your lettuce and mix together the mayo and spicy ketchup for the sauce

3. Slice the burger buns in half and lay a slice of cheese on the bottom half

4. Place the cooked chicken kyiv on top of the cheese, then spread sauce and lettuce on top

6.Spread a little extra sauce on the top bun, pop it on and serve with chips – and have a napkin ready!
